Career Oportunities

Since the founding of the Dunnington Firm in 1921, we have emphasized in our hiring excellence in education, legal training and interpersonal skills.

We welcome attorneys and legal assistants who possess a high degree of legal scholarship and who are prepared to become active and enthusiastic members of our practice areas. Our Partners and Associates come from both nationally-known and regional law schools and have, in the case of many of our Partners, remained at the Firm their entire legal career following graduation from law school.

As a small New York firm with a long-standing and trusted reputation in the Trusts and Estates and the Corporate Bars, we actively involve our Associates and legal assistants in our various practice groups, introduce them quickly to a high level of responsibility and offer our younger attorneys ample opportunity to try out different practice areas of the Firm.

If you are an entry-level or experienced attorney or legal assistant with a solid academic record and you seek professional enhancement through employment at the Dunnington Firm, we encourage you to submit a resume, writing sample and references to either of our hiring partners, George W. Gowen or John T. Dunlap.

If you are a more senior attorney with a relationship-oriented client base and seek affiliation with an established firm, please contact our Louis E. Teitel.
