Mr. London was born in Buffalo, New York. He received his B.A. degree (cum laude) from Princeton University in 1973 and received his J.D. degree from Georgetown University in 1976. Mr. London's experience, in addition to former service as a partner of the firm, includes serving as the U.K. based general counsel of two publicly traded European companies with global operations and serving in the enforcement division of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. London returned to the firm in September 2011 and is a member of the firm's corporate practice group. His practice is focused on corporate/SEC matters, international and domestic mergers and acquisitions and management of international and domestic litigation matters. Recent activities have included a USD2.1 billion acquisition of a US based technology company and acquisitions of public and private companies in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, India, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the United States, and management of intellectual property and commercial disputes in Belgium, Brazil, Canada (USD100 million IP litigation), Chile, China, Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Malaysia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United States (including defense of 9/11 claims).
