Dunnington Elects 2022 Executive Committee

Dunnington is pleased to announce the results of its annual Executive Committee elections.   The following equity partners have been re-elected to the firm’s Executive Committee:

Olivera Medenica

Bill Dahill was elected to Dunnington’s Executive Committee in 2020.  Bill is co-head of Dunnington’s litigation and dispute resolution practice and runs Dunnington’s employment law practice area. He is a seasoned commercial litigator with first-chair trial experience representing major private and public corporations.  Bill has extensive law firm practice management experience and currently serves on the Executive Committee of Network of Bar Leaders, the Government Relations Committee of the Federal Bar Association, and on the Attorney Grievance Committee of the Appellate Division, First Department.

Ray Dowd was elected to Dunnington’s Executive Committee in 2017.  An experienced trial and appellate litigator with extensive first-chair experience, Ray’s litigation practice covers federal, state and arbitral matters often in the cross-border context.  He authored Copyright Litigation Handbook in 2006 and updates it annually for Thomson Reuters/West.  He currently serves as President of the American Foreign Law Association, as Co-Chair for the First Judicial District of the New York Bar Foundation Fellows, and as a member of the Board of Governors of the National Arts Club.  He is an adjunct professor at Fordham Law School and serves on the Board of the Fordham Law Alumni Association.

Olivera Medenica was elected to Dunnington’s Executive Committee in 2021, is a member of the litigation and dispute resolution practice group and serves as Diversity and Inclusion Committee Chair.  With first-chair experience in litigating trademark and commercial disputes, Olivera runs Dunnington’s trademark practice group and has extensive experience with opposition, cancellation, and ex parte proceedings before the TTAB, having served as an arbitrator in intellectual property disputes.  Olivera serves as a Federal Bar Association Second Circuit Vice President and chairs the FBA’s annual Fashion Law Conference in New York and Paris.
